Site Location and Incentives Expert
Margaret O’Riley established O’Riley Consulting in 2002. The firm has spent many years assisting her clients, such as Johnson Controls, Bosch, and El Paso Energy, and a number of other firms, identifying appropriate sites and securing economic development incentives to support their facility investments.
She also was on the Business Recruitment team at Duke Energy where she led all battery and automotive facility investment projects to identify site location choices within the Duke Energy footprint. Early in her economic development career, she helped launch both the Michigan Jobs Commission, as well as the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, where she lead the efforts to enact the state’s incentive programs, and was the first President of the Michigan Economic Development Foundation.
For over 30 years, Margaret has worked in a variety of executive and leadership level economic development and more recently, has lead business development roles in the clean energy industry.
